Cosplay

Cosplay (コスプレ Kosupure) is a Japanese-made English term (wasei-eigo) derived from the combination of the words "costume" (costumes) and "play" (play). Cosplay means hobby along with accessories and wearing makeup as worn characters in anime, manga, manhwa, tales, video games, idol singers and musicians, and cartoons. Actors called cosplay cosplayer, Among fans, cosplayers also abbreviated as layer.
In Japan, cosplay participants can be found in the events held bevy of fellow enthusiasts (dōjin circle), such as the Comic Market, or attending a concert of the music group the visual kei genre. Fans and non-cosplay cosplayer cosplayers includes already spread around the world, namely the U.S., the PRC, Europe, Philippines, and Indonesia.
The origin of the outbreak of cosplay culture of action the United States as a party mask at Halloween and Easter. In general cosplay rated the same. But indirectly in several events that occurred in Indonesia often sharing / cosplay categories:

* Cosplay anime / manga. Cosplay from anime and manga. Usually including including manhwa comic from America.

* Cosplay Game. Cosplay from or take away from the character in the game.
* Cosplay Tokusatsu. Cosplay from or take away from the characters in tokusatsu films.* Cosplay Gothic. Cosplay from or take away from the character of a dark or Gothic. Usually combined with Lolita.* Original Cosplay. Cosplay that really does not exist in the original anime, tokusatsu and others. Or have the same basic game like Kingdom hearts characters for example: Sora (Kingdom Hearts) but shaped metallic (modern)* Harajuku Style. Some cosplayers often suspect Harajuku style is part of the cosplay. Some Harajuku style appeared in the manga / anime like Nana.
